Paper Birds

I decided to take a break from putting up the Christmas tree and make a tutorial on how to make these cute paper birds.

First cut the shape of the bird out.
When the bird is cut paint dots on the belly of the bird and once that is dry paint another dot with-in that dot. Repeat on the other side of the bird. Cut lines in the tail a few milometers apart.

Next, cut out the wings. It's a good idea to fold the paper so you can cut two wings at the same time.   After the wings are cut fold them like you would fold a hand held fan.

Before you put the wings on punch a hole in the top of the bird so you can tie a ribbon through it. Make sure the hole is in the right spot so that the bird doesn't tip to far forward or back.

Glue the end of the wings together and then glue them on the bird. I used double sided tape but if you don't have that just use glue. And that's it!

I love making these birds they're so easy to make and they look really nice! When you're done you can hang them anywhere and they'll look nice, even on the Christmas tree!

Thanks :)
