"E" is for Electricity

When I first saw this challenge I felt like I just had to join in! It looked like so much fun! The challenge is, you have to find a word in a dictionary (or a printed page if you don't want to ruin a dictionary) that starts with the given letter (which is "E" this week) and you have to represent it on the dictionary page itself. It's over at The Craft Barn.

The word that I chose is "electricity". The first thing I thought of was a light bulb, but I thought that was boring. So I did a natural form of electricity, which is lightning!

This is done with watercolour paint. The first page is supposed to be lightning hitting a tree. I now realize that I should have made the lightning strikes more jagged.  This is a French-English dictionary that's why you can't see the word.
